Can u enter airfore to gain knowledge and training for a civilian job? If so, can you enlist for 4 years and then leave for civilian job?

A lot of jobs in the Air Force are similar to civilian jobs, so experience gained in those areas in the Air Force can frequently be applied to a civilian job when you get out. The civilian job market is always a gamble though, so just because you have experience in a similar field in the AF doesn't mean they will honor that experience or hire you for it.
