   Hello I have been given the Mechanical aptitude area job despite of having qualified for the computer programming job (which i had to take the edpt test and obtained an above-passing score) and i have a few questions Wasn't the computer programming job and the technical applications specialist considered a guaranteed job? If i have high ASVAB scores, will i have the jobs that i list at BTC? If you could take the time of answering those question i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance

   What is the best way for me to get my desired job? (Which would be Airborne Cryptologic Linguist) I scored high enough on my ASVAB to qualify and all I have to do is take the DLAB test to see if I have the ability to learn a new language. Is there ANY way to negotiate? What if there isn't an available spot for that job, can I wait for a spot to open up? Do you know if a slot for this job is high in demand?

7. I took the ASVAB separately from the Medical Screening and was told by my recruiter after that he will be scheduling my physical. About how long does that take to schedule? How long is DEP usually? I currently on my way to become a linguist, just the DLAB left to take but I don't want to wait more than 6 months to go to BMT.

10. Is it mandatory to have to have a medical waiver for Bankart surgery on the shoulder or can the Meps Ortho Dr pass you without one if everything is good?

    I injured my ankle and it has been two weeks since the accident and my right foot is no longer inflammated. However i have cant jog because of some pain. i leave for BTC in two weeks. I havent told my recruiter yet. What should i do? i know i shouldnt go to the doctor without telling my recruiter but if i tell him and go to the doctor, i am afraid that MEPS will cancel my BTC date and my computer programming job which was very hard to get will also be lost.I ve been healing well and i think i can start jogging in a week. Again , what should i do?

    Is a Network Intelligence Analyst job hard to get or is it just a glorified title doing adminstrative work?

23. I am trying to get in touch with a recuiter here in the Ft Lauderdale area and have not been successful. No answers their phones. How do I start the process for the soft book program? Cody Carroll

24. As a child I was diagnosed with OCD and has to go to counseling adn take medication. I have been medication/symptom/counseling free for 15 years, do you think that this could disqualify me at MEPS?

25. I recently entered the DEP and swore in within two weeks of talking to a recruiter. I still have three months till I leave. Since I swore in so early, can I still request a DEP discharge? Or does that prevent me from leaving the DEP?

    If you wash out from tacp because of injury and they give you a list to pick from but give you a job that was not in the list what can you do
