I have a friend who is currently enlisting in the air force and has taken the ASVAB twice, the first time was in the 30s, the second a 62, enough to qualify for enlistment. However, her recruiter is now claiming she has to take it again because she had over a 20 point gain in score, is this AF policy or just a concerned recruiter?
I’m not familiar enough with all of the policies for recruitment to fully answer that. Either way you pretty much just have to go with what the recruiter says though. :-/
I wonder also. Wen i went through i took my asvab in 10th grade at my highschool and got a 57. The next yr i took it in 11 and got a 62 then i signed up a few months later. My recruiter told me it was illegal to take the test twice and almost kicked me out. Wierd!
